Nothing’s worse than unexpected absences. Before we’re in the throes of cold and flu season, take these steps to stop germs from spreading in your contact center.
The best ways to prevent the spread of illness is regularly cleaning. Focus on the dirtiest places:
- Keyboards and phones. Have agents wipe them down with alcohol-soaked cotton balls at the beginning and end of their shifts.
- Beverage holders. Encourage everyone to wash coffee mugs, water bottles and cups between uses with hot, soapy water.
- Hands. Post signs in the restrooms and lunch room reminding agents to wash hands every time they use the restroom and periodically throughout the day.
