Are you at risk for cubicle injuries?

Contact center agents who are in cubicles most of the day are at high risk for “cube work” injuries. Here are symptoms.

Agents might be fatigued from their cubicle work if they feel:

  • back pain
  • tense shoulders
  • ankle swelling, and/or
  • poor circulation in legs.

To prevent the physical pains of working at a desk all day, contact center leaders want to encourage agents to:

  • Get up and walk for several minutes each hour to improve leg circulation
  • Stretch your arms over your head and tilt forward and back to stretch your shoulders and back, and
  • Stand and rock from toes to heels periodically.
