When work gets mundane, here are ways to breathe new life into the contact center.
- Make your space more livable. Personalize it with photos, comics, motivational and inspirational quotes.
- Reward yourself. Make a chart and mark each time you help a customer successfully. Set a personal goal, and when you reach it give yourself a promised reward.
- Involve co-workers. Make up little competitions – who answers the most calls or gets the wackiest call, for example – and give little prizes to winners.
- Look beyond work. Boredom may not be just from work. Try new hobbies, volunteer or visit different places outside work.
