Fight the ‘Back to Work Blues’

If you’re avoiding work right now, you might have the “Back to Work Blues” and need these tips on avoiding them.

Whether you start your week in the contact center Monday at 8 a.m. or Thursday at 11 p.m., these tips can ward off the blues:

  • Work for the weekend. Work harder the afternoon before your weekend starts to wrap up as much as possible.
  • Plan it. Make a list of what needs to be accomplished the next week before you leave for the weekend.
  • Reserve the day before work starts for leisure. Run errands and do housework the other day off so you can ease into work again.
  • Schedule fun. Plan something fun – great lunch, after hours treat, call to a favorite customer, etc. – for the first day back.
