When time and money are tight, rely on these three unique ways to boost morale in your contact center.
They come from contact center leaders who’ve faced their share of morale and budget issues.
- Put it in writing. Schedule time to work alone or with other leaders to identify outstanding efforts each employee put in to his or her work in last year. Hand write notes thanking them individually for hanging in there through tough times. Send the letters home to the employees’ families, too.
- Take it easy. Create casual dress guidelines for one day a week or one week a month (and be clear before anyone gets too casual).
- Use social media to your advantage. Post on Facebook, Twitter and your company’s blog or website, thanking people for outstanding work and extra-mile efforts.
